I
played drums for my Kinobe chums on the old Kronenbourg ad with the foxy
brunette and the oggling guys having near death experiences.
I
also played drums with Mark Knopfler - he didn't play drums too, he played the
guitar - on that Dunblane Massacre single Knockin on Heavens Door. It was a
charity thing so they felt sorry for me and asked me to play. Something about
equal opportunites for Aussie drummers. But unfortunately it went #1 and now I'm
strangely proud of it coz it raised lots of cash for those survivors. It was a
pretty teary/emotional session all round and not just because of Mark Knopfler's
wristbands.
